Yearly Events

Children's Fine Arts Camp
This camp is held at the church and is offered to all rising 1st - 5th graders.  It is usually held during the last week in July.  The children focus on handbells, singing, Orff instruments, drama, and other arts which vary from year to year.  This is a wonderful time for the children to experience the many ways they can give glory to God through their gifts.

Asbury Bible School
Each summer, the 2nd week in June, Asbury treats children to an exciting week of fun, friends, and faith.  Your 4-year-old (by September 1st of the current school year) through 5th grader will remember this special time of growing closer to Jesus Christ. 

3rd Grade Bibles/Learner's Workshop 
Each new school year is started with a very special event-our 3rd graders receive their own Bibles.  The presentation is made during Sunday worship and a special class is subsequently held, with parents in tow, to help them learn to use their Bibles. 

Angel Workshop
This program is for K5 through 5th graders and is held in late November or early December.  We focus on making Christmas gifts for family and friends. 

Children's Sunday
Once a year, our children lead worship in the Sanctuary worship services.  This includes sermon, taking up the offering, greeting, music, and much more.  This is a wonderful time for the church family that is a meaningful time of worship.
