Asbury Career Transition (ACT) Ministry
Welcome to the resource pages for the Asbury Career Transition Ministry. You are invited to join us at any of our regular meetings and to take advantage of the resources provided by the ministry. The purpose of this ministry is to provide spiritual, emotional, and practical support and encouragement in a uniquely Christian way to individuals and families facing job loss.
 
Services offered in this ministry include:
· One-on-one confidential mentoring with volunteer career counselors

· Vocational Testing Information
· Interview Coaching
· Internet Access/Job Search
· Networking
· Prayer Partner
· Support Group
· Individual and family counseling by a licensed Christian psychologist

THERE IS NO CHARGE TO USE ANY OF THE SERVICES OF THIS MINISTRY AND PARTICIPATION IS OPEN TO EVERYONE REGARDLESS OF THEIR CHURCH AFFILIATION.
 
If you would like to participate and have not already done so, please take a few minutes to fill out an  ACT Ministry Information Form.  This information will help us to better meet your needs.
 
ACT Ministry meetings are the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Room 113 at the church.  During this time there are guest speakers addressing various aspects of a job search along with time for networking and meeting individually with career counselors or those helping with specific tasks (i.e. resume writing, etc.).   Upcoming meetings for 2013:
