Volunteer Information

Why Volunteer at Giggles and Grace?

    • Graces (8 hour volunteers) get to shop Thursday night at 5:00p.m. PLUS Graces will receive (1) guest pass for early shopping at 6:30p.m
    • Giggles (4 hour volunteers) get to shop Thursday night at 6:00p.m.
    • Angels  (6 hour volunteers) get to shop Thursday night at 5:30 p.m.
    • Consignors (all who are consigning and not volunteering) get to shop Thursday night at 7:00 p.m.
  • It is a great way to fellowship with and meet other volunteers and shoppers.
  • Give of your time to help raise money for Asbury Children’s Ministry and mission projects.
  • You can be a volunteer only and not consign items at the sale.  This will allow you to be part of the sale AND enjoy the benefits of early shopping.
  • If you would like to volunteer only for the sale please go to the link below.  You may register as a volunteer when the registration opens to the public on the date listed on the website.   You may choose either one 4-hour shift (Giggles) or two 4-hour shifts (Grace) or one 6 – hour shift (Angels).

Volunteer Guidelines

We are blessed to have wonderful volunteers that make each Giggles & Grace sale a success!  Since we do depend heavily on volunteers to ensure a successful sale, we ask that you read and agree to the volunteer guidelines below prior to registering:

  • Even if a volunteer is not able to shop the pre-sale, the volunteer is still expected to work the shift he/she has signed up for.
  • It is the responsibility of the volunteer to sign in at the time of the shift so that the volunteer team can verify the volunteer was present.
  • Please be aware that if a volunteer does not show up to work the shift signed up for, that volunteer will not be allowed to volunteer in future sales.  If an emergency arises that prevents you from working, you must contact the volunteer team by phone or email.
  • Volunteers cannot bring children while working a volunteer shift.  There is no child care available at the church for volunteers.  Children cannot be left unattended during any volunteer shift.
  • Please note: if you consign and volunteer you will only receive the volunteer shopping pass (Giggle / Angel) or passes (Grace) earned.

Mission Opportunities

We will be collecting can goods/non-perishable items for Asbury’s Food Pantry. There will be drop off boxes at the door for items donated. You can bring the items during your drop-off time, volunteer time, and/or when you come to shop. Please check the expiration date before donating the items.

Please consider donating gently used shoes (any size) and/or socks (no holes please!) to the Navajo Mission Life Center in Cuba, Mexico. You can bring your items in during your receiving time and place them in the collection box. Thank you for your support!

Spring 2017 Consignment Sale Important Info

• All items MUST have tags created using the above ‘Tag Creation’ link

• NO TAGS from any previous sales may be used this Spring.  Also, DO NOT delete any tags in the system for items you plan to sell. If you delete an item you plan to sell, it will not show up in inventory and we can NOT sell it! Do NOT delete as you go!

• NEW! If you are consigning non-clothing items (toys, books, shoes, etc.), you must bring a clear 14- 16 gallon plastic tub to receiving. The tub will be returned to you at closing with the items that are not sold; if you are donating your items then a tub is not needed.


• Label both short sides of the tub with your RESORT NUMBER, not your consignor number as we have for past sales.  Be sure to make the number as large and neat as possible and secure the paper with tape on all sides.

• Pickup Times are Saturday, February 25th, 4:30PM – 5:30PM
