Nearly two thousand years ago, Jesus told a humble parable about a family, a father, and his two sons. William Shakespeare called it the greatest short story ever told. It is an epic saga of revolt, rebellion, repentance, and compassionate reunion. The Parable of the Prodigal Sons still stands as a relevant lesson of iniquity and redemption. During this series, I plan to offer new insight into this timeless story. Do you know what this passage is really about? Perhaps not. I’ll just say this: these twenty-two verses from St. Luke can change your life forever!
