Interested in Joining Asbury?

The United Methodist Church is a worldwide connection of more than 12 million members in Africa, Asia, Europe and the United States. We are the person next door, the church on the other side of the country, and the worshiping community across the globe. Together, we share a legacy of living as disciples of Jesus Christ, sharing God’s love both in what we say and how we serve our neighbors.

You do not have to be a member of the United Methodist Church to worship and fellowship at Asbury, but our membership process can help deepen your relationship with Christ and the church. This membership process begins by learning who we are as Methodists through a class, Methodist History & Heritage, led by our Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Kip Laxson. The class will be offered Wednesdays this March at 6:30 p.m. and it will be offered both in-person (in a limited capacity) or virtually.

Not a resident of Birmingham? You can join Asbury as a virtual member.
