"My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to you; my soul also,
which you have rescued." Psalm 71:23

Chancel Choir. Worship Team. Asbury Ringers. Worship Orchestra. Asbury's Music Ministry leads our traditional and contemporary services in song each and every Sunday. Whatever your style or preference, we invite you to enjoy the music our staff and volunteers work hard to perfect for the glory of God.

Asbury has two chancel choirs: one that performs at the 8:30 a.m. Traditions service and a second choir that performs at the 11:00 a.m. service. Both traditional liturgical worship services also feature special music by soloists, duets, and ensembles. The 8:30 choir rehearses on Sunday afternoons at 5:30 p.m. in Room 143 and the 11:00 choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in Room 143. The choirs combine efforts for outstanding concerts at Easter and Christmas. Both choirs are led by Music Director Nancy Beard.

The Asbury Ringers and Worship Orchestra also perform in our Traditions services several times throughout the year. Asbury Ringers is a moderately advanced handbell choir led by Music Director Nancy Beard that rehearses Wednesday evenings (August-May) at 6:00 p.m. in Room 141. The orchestra is comprised of students and advanced instrumentalists who play strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion, and piano. Justin Ward conducts Asbury's orchestra and the group rehearses on Sundays at noon. Email Nancy or Justin with questions or to find out how you can get involved in these groups!

Asbury's contemporary worship service is led by a Worship Team featuring guitarists, vocalists, a keyboardist, and drummer. Mitchell Hastings leads the worship team and rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Youth Room (113). Email Mitchell with questions or details about how to get involved!
