Rev. Greg Foust

Rev. Greg Foust serves as the Minister of Discipleship at Asbury and is an Ordained Deacon. He has been married to Cathy for 33 years, and has three young adult daughters.  This year he became a proud grandparent. Greg is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College and Asbury Theological Seminary. He has taught a DISCIPLE classes since 1996 and loves the way that it informs and more importantly transforms for Christian living. In particular Greg loves the survey courses of the Old Testament and New Testament which gives participants a better understanding of God’s redemptive message in Scripture. Greg has served in the North Alabama Conference for 34 years at Tuscumbia First, Gardendale – Mt. Vernon, Huffman and now at Asbury. Presently, Greg coordinates intentional faith development through Adult Sunday School, DISCIPLE and other Small Groups while assisting the Senior Pastor in congregational care and worship.  Greg has a passion for spiritual growth and service.


Rev. Kelsey Grissom

Rev. Kelsey Grissom is an Associate Pastor at Asbury UMC and an ordained elder in The United Methodist Church. Kelsey graduated from Birmingham-Southern College and Candler School of Theology, Emory University. Prior to coming to Asbury, Kelsey served Cahaba Heights UMC and Fairfax UMC. Kelsey took her first DISCIPLE Bible study class as a sophomore in high school and has loved the DISCIPLE studies ever since. She lives with her three-year-old son, Houston.


Bob Suellentrop

Bob has been married 42 years to his high school sweetheart, Sharon. They have two adult children, Adam and Austin plus two granddaughters, ages 4 and 1. Bob has attended Asbury since 1994 and joined in 2011. He spent over 20 years in healthcare management until 1997 and founded the Red Mountain Cabaret Theater. Bob is a member of the Asbury Disaster Recovery Team.  He has completed both the Old Testament and New Testament DISCIPLE classes and loves to engage Scripture for more Christ-like living. Currently Bob works as a consultant/Chief of Staff with the Helen Keller Foundation in Birmingham.


Robyn White

Robyn White is currently serving as the Assistant Adult Discipleship Coordinator at Asbury. She is married to Dan White and they have two boys – Carson and Miles. Robyn is originally from Fairhope, AL but now calls Birmingham her home. She has attended Asbury for the past 8 years. During this time, she has led DISCIPLE classes, taught children and youth Sunday school, helped with VBS and the Women’s Ministry. Robyn loves to spend time with her family and friends.
