TRADITIONS

Timeless prayers. Powerful creeds. Inspiring hymns. Tradition and familiarity lie at the heart of this progressive, liturgical service. All are welcome, invited, and accepted.

INSPIRING TEACHING

Scripture, education, and spiritual growth are integral parts of Sunday morning worship at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Bill Morgan, Rev. Robert Mercer, and Rev. Maggie Dunaway take turns in the pulpit, teaching, guiding, and inspiring.

We’re excited to announce the return of Traditions at 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 14, 2021. This slightly shorter, more intimate service is designed for families who wish to worship together. Kids will come forward for the children’s moment and then return to their seats, rather than going to children’s church. Worship activity bags will be available during both services.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

United Methodists affirm the faith shared by all Christians, with particular emphasis on God’s grace and on Christian living, putting faith and love into action. During worship, you will learn about service opportunities inside and outside of Asbury’s walls and discover ways to get your whole family involved.

THE MUSIC

Whether it’s the chancel choir, soloists, the bell choir, orchestra or children’s choirs, music is the foundation of Traditions worship. Music Director Nancy Beard oversees the ensembles that perform nearly every Sunday. Interested in making music with Asbury?
