Scripture, education, and spiritual growth are integral parts of Sunday morning worship. Rev. Dr. Bill Morgan, Rev. Robert Mercer, and Rev. Maggie Dunaway take turns in the pulpit, teaching, guiding, and inspiring.

The 8:30 a.m. service is slightly shorter, with more intimate music and responses, and is designed for families who wish to worship together. Kids will come forward for the children’s moment and then return to their seats.

The 11:00 a.m. service features our full chancel choir, orchestra, and kids are invited to go to children’s church following their moment with the pastor. Worship activity booklets are available during both services.

United Methodists affirm the faith shared by all Christians, with particular emphasis on God’s grace and on Christian living, putting faith and love into action. During worship, you will learn about service opportunities inside and outside of Asbury’s walls and discover ways to get your whole family involved.

Whether it’s the chancel choir, soloists, the bell choir, orchestra or children’s choirs, music is the foundation of Traditions worship. Music Director Nancy Beard oversees the ensembles that perform nearly every Sunday. Interested in making music with Asbury?
