Student Ministry Associate

Actually a position that works with students!

How does being part of a great staff and volunteer team sound? We are looking for a full time position to work with our lead director to continue to build a ministry that partners with parents to pass down faith to students. This role will work on a dynamic team that consists of highly invested people. The paid staff include a full time lead director, administrative support, worship coordinator and interns. The student ministry team also works closely with the children and adult ministry teams. This role’s primary task involves working directly with students and adult volunteers.

Asbury United Methodist Church is located in North Shelby County Alabama which is part of the Birmingham metro area. Oak Mountain State Park is just two miles from the Church location with some of the best hiking and mountain bike trails in the country. We are also minutes from areas that are vibrant and has lots to offer people in their twenties.
