“The Best of All Is, God is with Us.”

John Wesley, Founder of the United Methodist Movement

There’s no better way to find God and experience Asbury than to worship with us on Sunday morning. Join us at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. for our traditional liturgical worship services. (Traditions) in the sanctuary. A more contemporary worship experience (The Bridge) is also offered at 11:00 a.m. in Williams Chapel.

In Asbury’s Traditions worship, you’ll hear familiar prayers, powerful creeds, and inspiring hymns that were written by our founding fathers. Scripture, education, and spiritual growth are an integral part of our progressive worship and our chancel choir honors Christ through music. Although the Traditions services contain elements of a more formal way of worship, the atmosphere is still warm and welcoming and truly open to all.

Watch or listen to a Traditions sermon by Rev. Dr. Kip Laxson.

The Bridge

The Bridge contemporary worship combines traditional elements with modern influences. An electric praise band provides the music; children of all ages and abilities are invited to attend and participate; and refreshments are provided each and every Sunday. Scripture and Biblical concepts lie at the core of worship. Parents are taught how to teach faith at home and the goal is for everyone to share their faith together in a more relaxed atmosphere.
